Persona 5 official trailer!
There have been some really neat announcements coming out of the Tokyo Game Show this year, and one of the next big things is the official trailer for Persona 5. If you’ve been living under a rock for the past decade, Persona is a rather dark series of RPGs published by Atlus. It’s actually a spinoff of the RPG series, Shin Megami Tensei, and although SMT is extremely popular in Japan, western fans seem to enjoy the Persona series much more than the main one. The fifth entry has been speculated on for some time now, but Atlus’ silence was broken with this small yet expressive trailer. The game will be released on Sony consoles next year, including the new PS4, and although the exact nature of the story is unknown, we do know from the trailer that the game will be based in a large metropolis rather than the smaller towns of previous entries.
